The Great Banana Hoax
Just completed another busy week, rounded off by an enjoyable and, hopefully, worthwhile wedding fayre in Cheshunt. I enjoy these events run by Party Favourz as the exhibitors are always very friendly and it’s nice to chat during quiet moments.
Earlier in the week I did a short spot at the Boogaloo club in Highgate on 14th October (my birthday). This was my first public show for about five years. The actual event, the great banana hoax, highlights four up and coming bands/songwriters, each having a half an hour set. The host wanted something fresh and different to entertain the crowd between setups, so asked me and I obliged with three quick demonstrations. One of my favourite routines, which hand is the coin in, was kindly recorded for me by an audience member – thanks, again.
Last Monday I attended probably the most beautiful venue to date, for a very intimate parlour show for 9 at Danesfield House in Marlow. Times were running awry and so I didn’t actually start until 11:35pm!! A long journey home meant I was in bed by 2:30, exhausted but happy with how the show went. This show was filmed for promotional purposes; when I get round to editing it.
I’ve now got a short break for some well earned rest before a wedding on Saturday for which I’m NOT performing but attending!!
Finally, check out the FLASH MINDREADER, it will freak your mind, albeit the first few times.
