"I was celebrating my 50th birthday with organising my own party, a black tie event, and dreading it as I so wanted a successful and memorable evening, not only for me but all my 60 guests, some of whom were travelling from overseas. I had the champagne, the dress, the food and the equipment organised, but was stuck for something different to put on, something entertaining and came across an idea one evening when talking to my husband who jokingly said that I was like a child in planning my party and that all I needed was a magician! With that said, I quickly browsed the internet for magicians in Essex and managed to whittle it down to 4. After many emails to the four I had chosen, I closed my deal on Andrew, simply because he shared the same name as my nephew and I had a deeply gutted vibe. After a few sleepless nights just prior to the event, because you just never know just how good these entertainers are, speaking to him on the telephone totally reassured me and I couldn’t wait for the big evening. I was like a child, so excited and so cunning! He turned up, so confident and so charming and a few lady guests thinking he was rather dishy! He immediately proceeded to do his arranged close-up mingling work, totally baffling me and my guests. The evening was going down a hoot and I was left to enjoy my party knowing that my guests were in good hands. He ended his evening by performing a 30 min show and we all crammed into my lounge to see him, as we were all totally amazed by this lovely man. We still talk about his appearance and still in awe of him and how he managed to “trick” us. I can’t say thank you enough to Andrew. He was just what I needed to ensure that my very special 50th birthday party went just as I had dreamed. I was totally overwhelmed the whole evening. "To anybody thinking of giving an amazing twist to their party celebrations you should definitely consider using Andrew Edmonds. I used Andrew at my wife's 40th birthday party (held at home with 50 guests) and he was a major hit. Originally I asked Andrew to "work the party" by doing some close up work with small groups. It was evident within 10 minutes that I'd made a great choice, and this led to me arranging for Andrew to close off with a 30mins cabaret session which got everyone involved, and made our party feel very unique compared to the usual drinks, food, dancing formula. Not only did Andrew give our party an added dimension, he was very flexible in terms of the arrangements, was extremely convincing and credible, and everyone warmed to him. People are still talking about our party many weeks later!"

"We booked Andrew for my wife's birthday party in February 2006 and I am pleased to confirm that we were absolutely delighted with the results. Our 120 or so guests ranged in age from 0 to 80+ and a significant majority are of Caribbean or African origin. Andrew started with 'close-up' work at each table and finished with a cabaret show and he astonished and amazed everyone. Upon arrival he got to work straight away and mingled with our friends and relatives without any need for introductions and he charmed and tricked them all, in some cases over and over again. For the last section of the cabaret he enlisted both of us to prove that I could read my wife's mind (I wish!) and that we can communicate through telepathy and I still can't work out how he did it.
